The Position: Pharmacovigilance Specialist

The role involves supporting the implementation, maintenance, and oversight of the local pharmacovigilance (PV) system to ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements. The specialist will execute patient safety strategies, monitor product safety profiles, and manage risk communication to safeguard the company's license to operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute safety-related activities including individual case safety reports, signal detection, aggregate safety reporting, and management of pharmacovigilance agreements.
• Manage local safety risk strategies, including the implementation of safety solutions, launch readiness activities, and transparent communication with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Shape country PV regulations by promoting regulatory reliance and international harmonization in partnership with industry associations and healthcare organizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, to integrate safety insights into broader therapeutic strategies.

Requirements

• Degree in a life science or healthcare-related discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or Science).
• 1-3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, preferably in an affiliate setting.
• Strong understanding of local and global PV ecosystems and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Experience in other medical functions such as Medical Affairs or Clinical Operations is considered an advantage.
