Business System Analyst
The Business System Analyst role is an entry-level position focused on assisting with requirement gathering, supporting project objectives, and performing routine data analysis under the guidance of experienced analysts. You will operate within well-defined tasks, focusing on continuous learning and applying core business analysis principles to support the delivery of documented requirements and IT solution features.
Responsibilities
- Operate within well-defined, routine tasks under supervision, adhering to established business analysis principles and frameworks.
- Support senior analysts in analyzing business problems, defining root causes, and eliciting stakeholder needs.
- Map requirements and assist in identifying basic solutions while ensuring the quality of assigned tasks.
- Interact with agile team members, capture stakeholder feedback, and assist in preparing project updates.
- Participate in project activities to understand foundational objectives and their alignment with broader goals.
- Analyze individual solution components and understand the impact of changes within a limited scope.
- Apply tools and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on requirement gathering and data analysis.
- Eagerness for continuous learning and adherence to established business analysis standards.
- Basic understanding of tools and techniques for requirements, data, and process analysis.
- Foundational understanding of relevant business or technical domains.
- Awareness of organizational interactions and agile principles, including translating needs into user stories.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to proactively seek clarification.
- Understanding of GxP environments and validation constraints.
- Knowledge of Pharma Technical Operations is considered an asset.
