Roche is seeking technical support and application specialists for their workshop operations. The roles involve the physical inspection, repair, decontamination, and software maintenance of diagnostic devices, as well as managing inventory, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations, and maintaining 5S and SHE standards. Specialists will also perform performance tests, provide customer training, and manage documentation within CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical checks, cleaning, and decontamination of returned devices.
• Execute repairs, software updates, and operational qualification (OQ) tests.
• Manage workshop inventory, spare parts, and calibration of test equipment.
• Report activities in CRM systems and ensure compliance with medical device laws and quality regulations.
• Conduct performance tests and provide customer training as needed.
• Maintain workshop environment according to 5S and safety standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Computer, Biomedical, Electrical/Electronics, Physics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software) or relevant Associate/Technical degrees.
• Experience in technical fields such as fluid systems, electronics, measurement technology, and IT systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for analytical and electronic systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in reporting.
• Professional experience in a technical field is preferred.
