(Sr.) Country Medical Manager (GI)

The Country Medical Manager (CMM) acts as a scientifically grounded partner within the customer engagement model, focusing on building deep connections with key stakeholders to optimize medical practice and ensure Roche is a preferred partner. The role involves maximizing medical activities to accelerate pipeline delivery, differentiating the portfolio through data, and driving strategic advocacy and community engagement throughout the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Contribute strong scientific and therapeutic area expertise to inform pipeline and portfolio differentiation.
• Lead the medical component of integrated strategies and communicate value stories locally.
• Engage proactively with top-tier external stakeholders and medical experts to shape medical practice and ensure patient access.
• Establish peer-to-peer relationships and conduct high-quality scientific exchanges and medical education.
• Systematically generate and translate external clinical insights into strategic recommendations.
• Ensure all medical activities adhere to strict compliance, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement local evidence generation strategies, including interventional and non-interventional studies and real-world evidence.
• Support clinical development by providing medical expertise for Phase I-IV studies and site engagement.
• Contribute medical expertise to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions to secure patient access.
• Support regulatory affairs in local health authority submissions and interactions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Medicine, Pharma, or Bioscience (Clinical Medicine preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a medical role (3 years for Bioscience backgrounds).
• Strong therapeutic area experience is preferred.
