Global Policy Lead, Disease Area Policy

The Global Policy Lead, Disease Area Policy is a high-impact strategic expert responsible for designing and driving Roche’s policy strategies across priority Therapeutic Areas. This role involves navigating complex supra-national environments to influence senior stakeholders and ensure sustainable access to innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of global policy strategy portfolios and performance metrics.
• Define long-term global disease area policy vision and craft sophisticated policy projects and evidence-based tools.
• Architect external engagement and advocacy frameworks for health system stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary global point-of-contact for disease area policy and provide expert direction to the business.
• Partner across regions and affiliates to ensure consistent application of health policy expertise.
• Lead the development of portfolio-wide content and analytical tools to translate external challenges into actionable business insights.
• Manage high-impact global strategic policy initiatives and project workstreams.
• Educate cross-functional peers to foster a culture of functional excellence.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or MBA in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Health, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in health policy or public affairs within the life sciences sector.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and policymakers.
• Established network of relationships with global public institutions and trade associations.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder consortia and coalition building.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to thrive in decentralized, networked organizational models.
