Field Service Representative
Roche Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Field Service Representative to support NHS pathology laboratories. This role focuses on providing frontline support for electro-mechanical hardware, including routine proactive and reactive maintenance, as well as applications and IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline support across the Roche product portfolio at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and take ownership of technical faults.
- Minimize unplanned downtime of laboratory equipment.
- Use digital tools for proactive preventative measures.
- Conduct training for laboratory staff.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Life Sciences or HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the IVD industry and experience in delivering support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Resilient, tenacious, and possessing a growth mindset.
