The Position

The Synthetic Molecules Technical Development (PTDC) department at Roche focuses on the late-stage technical development of small molecule pipelines and the production of drug substances and products for clinical trials. The Scale-up & Supply (PTDC-S) team is responsible for developing robust, cost-effective manufacturing processes and ensuring the timely supply of high-quality active ingredients for clinical and toxicological studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical reactions and physical unit operations in multi-purpose production facilities during three-shift operations.
• Prepare and clean multi-purpose equipment.
• Assist with equipment modifications and repairs.
• Document work and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
• Implement and comply with Roche policies regarding safety, health, and environmental protection.
• Work flexibly and independently.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologist.
• Independent, precise working style with strong GMP knowledge.
• Interest in new technologies and experience operating modern systems with programmable logic controllers.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Dynamic, initiative-driven, and team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work flexibly.
• Fluent German skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
