Senior Statistician
The Senior Statistician serves as a key member of the cross-functional study team, applying statistical expertise to the design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead statistical input into clinical trial design and own the development of statistical study documents.
- Design and execute complex analyses while proactively resolving challenges.
- Represent Biostatistics at the Study Team level and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Interpret and communicate results to influence study-level decisions.
- Lead statistical contributions to Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and regulatory documents.
- Provide functional guidance and mentoring to less experienced statisticians.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in clinical trial statistics within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting.
- Demonstrated experience across different phases of clinical studies.
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations and statistical methodologies.
- Proficiency in SAS and/or R and familiarity with CDISC standards.
- Strong strategic agility, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
