Roche is seeking a Public Affairs professional to join their team in influencing healthcare policy and driving access improvements for UK patients. This senior role involves executing corporate public affairs strategies, engaging with key stakeholders, and navigating the complex UK political and regulatory landscape to support Roche's goal of reaching more patients by 2030.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to enterprise Corporate Public Affairs strategy and monitor policy developments impacting the pharmaceutical industry.
• Utilize a network of senior stakeholders to articulate Roche’s value proposition.
• Support senior leadership with briefings and lead interactions with trade bodies, politicians, policymakers, and patient groups.
• Coordinate responses to government consultations and act as an internal champion for public affairs initiatives.
• Provide strategic advisory support to internal teams and manage agency partnerships.

Requirements

• Substantive experience in public affairs within a commercial organization or central government.
• Strong track record of influencing policy and engaging with government officials.
• Deep knowledge of the UK political system, healthcare policy, and current affairs.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with an established network in Westminster and Whitehall.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and communicate complex information clearly.
• Experience operating within a compliance-led regulatory environment.
