Legal & Compliance Manager

As the Legal & Compliance Manager at Roche Latvia Pharma Division, you will ensure business operations and interactions comply with internal policies and legal requirements while providing day-to-day legal support. You will act as a strategic partner, role model for ethical behavior, and compliance lead for both the Pharma division and the Roche Services & Solutions site in Riga.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of divisional and local requirements.
• Drive compliance integration into business processes and decision-making.
• Provide legal advice, draft and review contracts, and support the Director Legal & Compliance Pharma Baltics Cluster.
• Develop and implement compliance SOPs, policies, and training programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitoring activities, and manage internal/external audits.
• Promote a culture of integrity, manage the Business Ethics Incident Reporting system, and encourage speak-up channels.
• Collaborate across divisions and lead pan-Baltic compliance projects.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or a legal role within the life sciences or a highly regulated sector.
• Strong knowledge of pharma/life sciences regulations.
• Fluent in Latvian and excellent command of English.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
