R&D Business Tools Operations Specialist I

We are seeking an R&D Enterprise Tools Operations Specialist I to join our global service and support team. You will be a reliable service provider handling critical system requests, ensuring scientists and engineers can focus on developing innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute R&D system requests using expertise in business systems and compliance standards.
• Provide professional, empathetic, and timely support for operational issues and system problems.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex R&D business applications.
• Develop deep expertise in key processes such as records management, lab data, and change requests.
• Streamline operations to maximize scientist productivity.
• Anticipate customer needs by building organizational know-how.
• Maintain global service excellence within a diverse, collaborative team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and digitization.
• Apply automation and AI tools to reduce administrative loads.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulated R&D processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in operations, technical support, or system administration.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills; German is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes.
• Experience with enterprise business applications (e.g., EDMS, LMS, or Project Management tools).
• Desirable: Experience in data analysis, AI chatbots, prompt engineering, or AI agent development.
• Proficiency with SAP, Cornerstone, Google Suite, and Office Suite.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented approach to following established processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid, global team environment.
