IT Infrastructure Engineer
The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the configuration, implementation, operation, and optimization of IT network technologies. This role focuses on ensuring a reliable, stable, and secure environment while modernizing infrastructure through software engineering principles and automation to eliminate manual tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure infrastructure meets SLAs, OLAs, SLIs, and SLOs through effective maintenance and patching.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build robust, scalable IT solutions.
- Apply software engineering principles to manage infrastructure products and develop self-service tools.
- Manage ITSM processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Build strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain expertise in data center, wireless, LAN, and WAN technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer; Cisco CCNP certification preferred.
- Proven experience supporting and implementing complex LAN, DCLAN, WAN, and Wireless networks.
- Experience working with external vendors and telecom carriers.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and monitoring tools.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
