Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

As a Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer at the SE7 level, you will be responsible for solving complex business problems with innovative DevOps solutions across the entire infrastructure landscape. You will make critical technical decisions, influence technology strategy, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical direction for the lifecycle of platforms and services, applying software engineering principles to build large-scale infrastructure.
• Design complex CI/CD pipelines, self-healing features, and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Lead the maintenance of live services by defining metrics for availability, latency, and system health (SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs).
• Manage capacity, performance, scalability, and emergency response.
• Partner with developers and vendors to optimize application development velocity and service reliability.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards, including leading audit exercises and remediation plans.
• Manage ITSM processes and foster business strategy through innovation.
• Lead and mentor geo-distributed teams to drive success across multiple product lines.
• Implement and maintain Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) using automation, design thinking, and agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience solving complex business problems with innovative DevOps solutions and leading geo-distributed teams.
• Deep expertise in Azure Public Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on technical skills in automation (Python, Terraform), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), logging, monitoring, and observability (Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience with source code management (GitLab, BitBucket, GitHub) and defining SLOs/SLIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in networking, infrastructure, or databases.
• Azure certifications or equivalent working knowledge.
• Strong ability to manage ITSM processes, audit exercises, and Disaster Recovery planning.
