The Position
As a biostatistician and data scientist at Roche, you will join a global team dedicated to advancing diagnostic assays through robust quantitative methods. You will work across the product lifecycle, from early research to market registration, to extract actionable insights from clinical and real-world data.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and develop clinical algorithms using statistical and machine learning methods.
- Perform statistical analysis for clinical studies and real-world data, generating reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Analyze biomarker discovery data using multivariate and machine learning techniques.
- Support peer-reviewed publications demonstrating clinical utility.
- Contribute to cross-functional project teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in (Bio-)Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, (Bio-)Informatics, or a related field; Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven expertise in applying biostatistical and machine learning methods to clinical data, particularly in biomarker evaluation.
- Excellent proficiency in R or a comparable programming language.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
