The skills and experience I gaines at UBIMET has helped propel my career.
If the company could improve its management style, I'd imagine employee turn over would go down. The product stretches across a lot of industries which I found really cool.

I left due to the management style, lack of career progression and not being able to progress my salary with the responsibilities I took on -- I couldn't afford to stay.
There is always an opportunity cost that once has to consider.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The C-level doesn't have to do everything. Their strength is really in the technical aspect of the business.
My humble advice would be to bring in someone new (and well-intentioned) to take over the people management side. The benefits - less turnover, higher degree of turnover and less need for technical oversight on the mundane topics.

Great team atmosphere but is is largely formed by a perceived common struggle against management.
Therefore 2 stars.
Kommunikation
Quite poor. Very top-down. Little to no decision making powers given to team leads.
In saying that, I have heard that this is beginning to change.

As above, the bond amongst colleagues is largely formed by the common struggle against management. Which is really sad in my opinion.
Work-Life-Balance
This was not encouraged. Contracts were 'All-in' with little compensation for overtime.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Style is very top-down. Middle managers have little to no say. Whilst technically gifted, the top-level management have little to no social skills which has caused some key people to leave unnecessary.
As a result, there was a severe brain drain and slow down of various projects. This made it very hard to onboard new colleagues (perpetuating a bad work culture).
On the other hand, there are worse companies out there.

Yes, it is no way near a normal product and therefore you get to work across a broad range of industries!
Gleichberechtigung
Whilst not advertised, one positive is that there is no workplace discrimination. Positions are filled based on merit. Doesn't matter who you are.

Modern office. Nice location. Not that many benefits.

Recycling. No real active programs. Fairly average.

Compared to the industry. Quite low. However, I believe this has improved.

Outside image is quite good. Regularly features in media as an innovator.
UBIMET has a mixed reputation amongst the local IT industry in Vienna.
Nonetheless, many of my former colleagues have gone on to do bigger things since being with the company.
So with that in mind, perhaps there is some opportunity there.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No progression. Mainly putting out fires. Personal development was not offered. No one had the time to internally develop or train colleagues.
Was a dead end in this regard.
