Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Some Market Unit Heads have really understood that the only way to shine and earn money is by keeping the employees motivated and content

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Some management have not understood that money is a hygiene factor. As long as it's good enough, more money will not motivate people. Once you hurt people financially however, you will very quickly loose a lot of their interest, motivation and satisfaction.

3.5% inflation. Unfortunately Adnovum is doing so badly, they can only afford a 1% compensation. It hurts to then read that we managed to increase our revenue once again. Significantly. Where are we bleeding money? It isn't going to the employees. Government employees get 2% inflation compensation, but we're doing so badly, we can't afford that. We only get 1%.

You really missed a chance to keep motivation high. Now, let's see how you will do damage control and deal with the demotivation and discontent that will now set in. Or will you only wake up once the good people start leaving?

1% inflation correction and xx% Revenue increase. Yes, double digits. In the same week. Classical example of bad communication.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We are pleased to hear that, overall, you are satisfied with Adnovum as an employer.

We sincerely regret that you are not happy with the latest salary round and related communication. Overall, we can say that the average salary increase at Adnovum was above the average salary growth across all industries and in line with IT industry benchmarks.

However, this does not mean that this is true for all individual employees, as there are other factors that were considered. We therefore suggest that you reach out to your Career Coach to discuss your individual increase.

Regarding the overall increase, we also need to be aware that in the IT sector, salaries are fortunately not driven by inflation alone. Salaries have been rising continuously over the last years even when the inflation was negative.

We hope that, after discussing with your Career Coach or Unit Head, you will better understand the related decisions.
