Not very safe place to work due to the continous layoff waves. People are often overworked.

Used to be a human place to work at. Now it's about showing you work on the weekend, that you are always reachable (CEO praises people who reply to emails on weekends during all hands meeting for instance).

very strict performance reviews and promotions only if the company needs you, not if you achieve goals.

I found the salary quite competitive but perhaps this is not true for every role

People working there are genuinely talented and nice to work with

Gleichberechtigung
Since the management / leadership change a lot of "friends" of the CEO were hired, all of them in leadership positions. By that I mean, all ex-mckinsey. For many it felt like a scam, you would get the postion because of your connections. This also had the effect of more gender imbalance especially in leadership.
