It is difficult to find many positives, but at least employees receive a salary. Some projects are interesting and allow you to work full-time directly within the client’s team, which is likely the best opportunity the company offers.

Staff often feel undervalued due to a lack of support, recognition, and guidance. Toxic management behavior contributes to low morale and a demotivating work environment.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The company should start valuing and supporting its employees more; otherwise, those with other opportunities will leave, which could also negatively impact customer relationships. Implementing quality control and accountability measures for managers would help improve the work environment and overall company culture.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The work atmosphere has been deteriorating steadily. Employee benefits are being reduced, and there seems to be increasing pressure on staff to leave or are being let go. The company has developed a noticeable “hire and fire” mentality, which feels out of place in the Swiss job market and creates a sense of insecurity among employees.

Many employees would probably like to leave. Others try to keep a low profile and simply “ride out” their time at the company. Overall, the environment can feel demotivating and insecure.
Work-Life-Balance
Nothing exceptional, with several aspects that could be improved. Part-time work below 80% is not possible, and employees are required to take vacation between Christmas and New Year. Overtime cannot officially be compensated with time off, which limits flexibility. In addition, fixed core working hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. further restrict individual scheduling freedom.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There is limited support for learning new skills, and overall, working at ELCA provides very few career growth opportunities. For anyone seeking meaningful professional development and advancement, it is a poor choice.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The team spirit among employees is excellent, as long as management is not involved. Colleagues support each other.

Large parts of the management display toxic behavior. There is little empathy or support for employees, and decisions often appear arbitrary or politically motivated.

The office facilities are generally good to very good, providing a comfortable and well-equipped working environment.

Internal communication is either lacking or often feels intentionally misleading. Important information is not shared transparently, which leads to confusion and mistrust among employees.
Gehalt/Benefits
The average salary is fine, with little transparency or opportunity for growth. Social benefits are limited and do not meet expectations for a competitive workplace.
Gleichberechtigung
Overall acceptable, but there are occasionally inappropriate comments or behavior. Combined with the poor work-life balance, the company is not particularly attractive for women or employees seeking an inclusive and respectful environment.
Interessante Aufgaben
It strongly depends on the project. There are a few very interesting and challenging ones, but they are limited and highly sought after.
