Start to think long-term and create a space where appreciation is part of the daily routine.
There will be a shortage of good people on the market soon if not already it not only about how to get the best but also how to keep the talents. Start to make upward feedback to help managerial staff to grow and learn.

There are multiple channels with a lot of communication, which is not directly relevant for the receiver. However important things are often communicated with delay.

On the lower levels people are supporting however as soon it is about promotions, you hardly can trust anyone. Many are only looking for themselves.

The work-life-balance is terrible. There are maybe times with less pressure but mostly there is a big workload and not enough staff.

EY does not invest a lot in further education regarding leadership skills and does promote people with a horrible attitude. This leads to the problem that some leaders have hardy any empathy. However, there are some very great leaders. It depends in what department you are.

EY pays a lot of attention to treat everyone the same, however their policiey clearly discriminate parttine workers on a manager level.
