Unhealthy work environment; communication not existing; team spirit within the Chinese Expats only; work a lot and no life; interesting tasks only for the management team and mangers promotion; zero respect to senior employees; no career future; and behind all fake images.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

In the office sitting beside colleagues who don't shower for days; cutting nails; burps; loud mouth noise drinking water or tea (in the canteen, loud mouth noise is everywhere). Manager most of them are expats like to make employee feel useless by using bad languages and comments. Employees end up with no motivation, self doubt, and spend weekend with tears (Females). In the office to show a FAKE smile face to delight managers.

Kommunikation

Communication between employees are filled up with rumours, FAKE comments, try to find out what is happening in the business. There is no communication with expats managers. They speak very little and bad English. They don't share information with employees. When local employees like to spend their lunch or dinner with Expats managers and have beers with them. Perhaps they can get a little bit information. In a meeting, oftentimes, managers start talking in Chinese for ten or twenty mins, and translate into company official language - English in one or two sentences for local employees.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Team spirit is divided between Expats and local employees. Expats are using chances only for their own career in the company and financial benefits. They are oftentimes together coming to office, eating only at Chinese canteen, going home together whenever it is. Local employees have their team spirit to survive, nothing else.

Work-Life-Balance

Meetings happen in the evening till mid-night, Sat early morning and Sun. The meeting organiser - expats manager need show their management that they are dedicated, hard working people and sacrificing weekend to work. Making sure report is out in the night and weekend to prof hard weekend work. When there is no local employees join weekend meeting, seminar, studies, then all material is conducted only in Chinese.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Managers are all send as expats from China. They are here for their own benefit, for example, a better career position after this country, a better bonus, and not going back to China to return their local salary back to the company. Impossible as locals say to find out real stories in business.

Interessante Aufgaben

Tasks and projects are from HQ to Europe HQ to local countries. It is interesting projects for management interests. For the local employees, they are under the pressure to learn and to study project and to achieve the company HQ target, regardless if he is an experienced sales person with years and years local knowledge. but to learn from business.

Gleichberechtigung

In the first one to two years, experienced local employees have better opportunities. Is it clear that local employees are paid and bought by higher salary to sell local knowledge. Expats from HQ are all under 40. They are management and senior management position. Over 40 local employees are rarely and being used as fake image for the company. There is no local senior employee can make any decision, and receive appreciation by 40 years Expats management team.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Here the office is new for the last years. Chairs and Table are new. New decoration and new office is used as office image project from HQ and Europe management team.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Environmental responsibilities are not a topic for Expats who come from non - recycle concept countries. In the office to have recycle equipment does not mean they are being used. Social awareness, society respect is something annoying the expats here, when it has zero result to do with their career.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Salary is not paid equally, the story of learning opportunities, development and local employees can get more bonus and project bonus are FAKE message for years to keep them working and working more on weekend. The Chinese management tells locals stories like: it is hard time for Huawei, no one has salary increase, but the output is appreciated and keep a good work. Image is always part of the planned projects from Europe HQ and driven by local management team. Some little money can be distributed as a project award to the employees. Team leaders always go to stage and get an award without doing any work.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Two comments: for Chinese Expats, yes, they can always find out the way to move around, and find careers within Europe or HQ, although there is no work experience at all. In order to provide the opportunities for the Chinese Expats, local employees are being pressed, for example: lack of business knowledge, lack of people management skill and LACK OF CAREER FUTURE as a result.
