Leider kein Homeoffice erlaubt. Ansonsten normale Arbeitsbedingungen für eine ICT Firma (höhenverstellbare Schreibtische und saubere Räume etc)
Interne Kommunikation ist nicht existent für die breite Masse der Mitarbeiter. Das durchweg chinesische Management kommuniziert sehr selten - und wenn, dann nicht transparent.
Kaum Frauen im Management. Bewusste Diskriminierung von Frauen oder der LGBTQ Community habe ich nicht erlebt.

The real Chinese attitude towards the western world is shocking. No one does anything about it.
Learn that the Chinese are not superior, without the locals the business will crumble, the cracks are already there. You need to learn that employees are valuable and not just a number.
All the smiles are fake and too much is ignored.
At the moment very poor. Majority of the employees are pretending everything is fantastic - generous Bonus keeps people quiet.
You have to make your own balance and draw the line otherwise they abuse your commitment.

They are not shy with money except when negotiating salary increase. Excuse after excuse not to give a raise. Most popular excuse - we have to follow process.

Coworkers are great and very supporting. We also spend time outside of work engaging in different social activities.
The conditions are very good. Office supplies are always available and there is regular cleaning in office. There are many different coffee rooms and also recreational activities (ping pong, football etc.)
The work is interesting and you get the opportunity to work on many different projects. You get lots of exposure to different tasks within your job and are provided with challenging tasks.

Company is very ambitious and offers room for professional growth and development.
Certain processes can be overcomplicated. Some seemingly routine tasks require multiple steps of approval.
Improve communication and simplify internal processes.
The atmosphere at the company is good. Huawei is a very multicultural company comprising of many different nationalities from all over the world. The colleagues are nice and friendly, and the company does things to create a fun and positive atmosphere through events and activities such as: monthly birthday celebrations, summer BBQ’s, and sports clubs.
The image of the company has improved over the years. The management understands the need for a positive brand image, and the company is doing things to continuously improve the employer branding.
Work can sometimes be demanding, however it is encouraged to take time for yourself. Overall, if you manage your workload efficiently, then the company is flexible in giving you the freedom to manage your time in and outside of the office.
Some opportunities do exist for professional development and growth.
Salary depends mostly on your role within the organization. For certain positions the salary is fairly competitive.
The collaboration with other colleagues is excellent. Within my team, we work very well together, and are willing to help each other when needed. I also have good collaborations with colleagues from other departments. There is a strong sense of teamwork within the organization.
Generally speaking the company tends to have younger faces in the office, however there are many older colleagues who bring valuable skills and know-how due to their many years of experience. Given that some roles require many years of experience and specialized skills, it’s not uncommon to see older colleagues join the company.
My Manager is open and understanding to my needs, and willing to take the time to listen and offer their support and guidance when needed.
Conditions are fine. An importance is paid to keeping the office clean and ensuring good air quality.
Communication is mostly clear, however there can be misunderstandings, especially when things get lost in translation due to the Chinese language and cultural. It’s important to keep an open mind within this organization.

The salary is mainly dependant upon the role, but in general for IT roles the salary is competitive

I did not have any issues with my supervisor. Overall they were were supporting and have treated me with respect.
