The atmosphere at the company is good. Huawei is a very multicultural company comprising of many different nationalities from all over the world. The colleagues are nice and friendly, and the company does things to create a fun and positive atmosphere through events and activities such as: monthly birthday celebrations, summer BBQ’s, and sports clubs.

Kommunikation

Communication is mostly clear, however there can be misunderstandings, especially when things get lost in translation due to the Chinese language and cultural. It’s important to keep an open mind within this organization.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The collaboration with other colleagues is excellent. Within my team, we work very well together, and are willing to help each other when needed. I also have good collaborations with colleagues from other departments. There is a strong sense of teamwork within the organization.

Work-Life-Balance

Work can sometimes be demanding, however it is encouraged to take time for yourself. Overall, if you manage your workload efficiently, then the company is flexible in giving you the freedom to manage your time in and outside of the office.

My Manager is open and understanding to my needs, and willing to take the time to listen and offer their support and guidance when needed.

Job tasks are often changing which can be interesting. Within the company there are opportunities to learn new things, or provide proposals to make improvements.

Generally speaking the company tends to have younger faces in the office, however there are many older colleagues who bring valuable skills and know-how due to their many years of experience. Given that some roles require many years of experience and specialized skills, it’s not uncommon to see older colleagues join the company.

Conditions are fine. An importance is paid to keeping the office clean and ensuring good air quality.
