I am with Huawei for almost 8 years and i've seen a lot of improvements for the company. The dept. atmosphere is a very good one, the proportion between local staff and Chinese is quite balanced. They try and work to adapt to our culture. Salary packages and bonuses are a plus.
Very nice events organized for promoting company's products and services to local market.

The working environment has improved in the last years. More locals have joined the company.
Kommunikation
Improved in the last year, but still some emails in Chinese that exclude communication with local staff. I would say that all important information are better shared and announced than before.
Work-Life-Balance
Depends on each individual but i never received pressure for this aspect. Vacations are accepted and respected. Overtime is handled accordingly in the internal platform.

Not the best image on the market more because of the past. In the last years they changed and they try to adapt as more as possible to local culture. You can feel the trend to localize inside the company and this is totally appreciated by employees.

You have the chance and opportunity to change and develop carrier inside the company but you need find your own path.
