What you will be doing
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of translational research projects in neuroimmunology with a focus on stroke
- Combine clinical research with experimental laboratory work to investigate immunological mechanisms following cerebral ischemia
- Plan, conduct, and analyze experiments (including FACS analyses and epigenetic methods)
- Analyze clinical and experimental data in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations at international conferences
- Participate in teaching activities in neurology and/or biomedical sciences
Your profile
- Master's degree, preferably in human medicine, neuroscience, biomedicine, or a related field
- Strong interest in translational research in neuroimmunology and stroke
- Experience in laboratory work, particularly FACS (flow cytometry) and/or epigenetic methods, is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistics
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
