We are looking for a cloud platform engineer to join an API enablement team. This team will provide API tooling and skills to development teams.
Your talent:

You have a technical-related degree and/or equivalent professional qualification
You are communicative, enjoy collaboration and have an open-minded personality
You are fluent in English (both written and oral)

Required skills:

At least 5 years of experience in Cloud platform, in particular Azure
Working experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, e.g. Terraform, Bicep
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices
Experience in working with API management systems
Exposure to Azure Services – e.g Azure Functions, Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Redis, Service Bus, and Event Grid
Working experience with relational databases (experience with NoSQL is a plus)
Ability to apply architectural and design patterns with a focus on quality, readability, and maintainability
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Working experience with versioning tools – e.g Jira and Git
Experience with monitoring for services – e.g Azure Monitoring, Log Analytics

Advantages:

Experience with scripting - e.g Python, PowerShell, Shellscripting or Bash
Knowledge of best practices in security and infrastructure as code
Working in an agile team, with a good understanding of the concepts
Experience in collaborative development practices (pairing/mobbing/ensemble)

Your role:

Ownership of important technical and team topics
Use the project to inform the later work and investigate technical different choices
Providing technical guidance and coaching to engineers
Ensuring that good engineering practices are applied in daily work
Directly communicating with internal and external stakeholders and guiding them towards success
Working closely with your local and remote colleagues in agile setup
Creating high-quality solutions while adapting to project requirements
Support the team in the full project life cycle
