Ver interesting projects and good purpose and vision
Hire and fire mentality in marketing
A bit toxic
Location close to the lac. Food. Very knowledgeable experts in R&D. Very kind and helpful employee culture.
Top Management struggles to delegate. Too many cooks in the kitchen making decision making very cumbersome - lack of empowerment. Driven by Technology rather than consumer needs. Top Management focused on personal branding, advancement and short term financial
success. Clear lack of long term strategy.
There is a clear need to revise the decision making process and empower the employees.
Sonova could benefit from a more consumer and customer centric long term strategy.
Mega Pensionskasse
nichts
Work-life balance, Kantine
Lack of transparency, hypocrisy, no possibility to grow, blockage everywhere.
Invest in your people more. Show recognition with title/salary.
Not so good, management is pushing for unrealistic results
People are not so happy with their jobs when they talk.
No complains from my side
Very bad. Even the so-called Line Managers who are supposed to make you grow in your career are useless and only care about themselves.
There are new management team and re-organization every 2 years, leading to employees dismissal.
No transparency, Management only caring for their own promotion.
Old looking offices, IT-goods are cheap
Taking on new responsibilities is not rewarded by title nor salary. No salary increase despite very good yearly personal performances.
Men are advantaged despite the talk
OK but no salary increase upon taking on new responsibilities
Projects are interesting.
Cantine is good.
Free coffee and tee.
Some events.
Management saying something and doing the exact opposite (see the company values).
A new management method being implemented every 3 months, without solving the real problems.
Enabling abusive behaviors.
Being dismissive towards employees.
Unfair promotions.
Show recognition, be more transparent, listen (ironic for a hearing company).
Depends on the project and department. It can turn political, competitive and counterproductive very fast.
Worse every day.
You have to complain enough to have less work on your plate. If you're good at your job, you'll be rewarded with more work. And nothing else.
The "bonus" is not related to your real performance, but to the allocated budget.
The company installed solar pannels and encourages to go to work by bike or with public transportation.
Many (too many) managers. Unfortunately, management is lacking to drive projects and to solve disagreements. Decisions are taken based on politic and influence only.
Many colleagues worked their for their entire career. However, a hire/fire culture appeared over the past few years.
Either passive or toxic (big egos, etc.). They see talented colleagues as threats.
Even after reducing its surface, the company has enough space.
Internal changes (organisation, portfolio) are not efficiently communicated, even if it affects you directly. Gossip and networking rule the house.
While a goal of the company, promotions are only given to (white male) friends, regardless of their results, competences or efforts.
The projects and domain are very interesting.
Many group leaders are non technical background, being used as a cushion layer between the research and development and HR with no benefit rather than creating problems. Few of them are stay at home single moms who rarwly show up at office and the turn over is still high, but they are still employed because they are friends with top management.
Some employees could take their cases to court against sonova thanks to those group leaders and somova had to pay reparations.
Getting rid of the non technical group leaders that don't have an impact on the corporate.
Headless management with highly questionable processes and priorities. Middle management in IT completely lost with some directors caring only about themselves.
some colleagues(engineers and managers) do not have the required skills to work in their positions.
some departments hiring in CH, while others are firing with no backfill
blocked by some managers
benefits i would say below average compared for similar-sized companies
Frischluft
So verdient kununu Geld.
