My views on UCC and ADO 2.0
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
ADO 2.0, which is setting the company up for the future and additional growth. Though there are challenges and admin, as with any reorg, I do feel like the process is well guided and most importantly managers are really listening to people’s opinions.

Arbeitsatmosphäre
ADO 2.0 has kicked off a journey towards transparency, speed and modernisation. Also, it’s aim is to foster professionalism, which will (mid-term) enable growth in the context of the overall UBS ecosystem. Whilst currently, admin has increased, managers are doing their level best to keep pressure away from teams and maintain focus on project delivery. I believe, that at its core, the transformation journey will yield the benefits envisaged and be for the benefit of all impacted employees.

Work-Life-Balance
People work a lot, however, there is plenty of opportunities to compensate in one or the other form. It’s all within norms and considering compensation levels, growth opportunities and the industry UCC is operating in, it’s all well balanced.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I got two opportunities to educate myself in a job related field. Also I am seeing many progress within UCC. There’s clear pathways for career growth and their given if one puts in the necessary efforts

Very high (PV, volunteering days) - there’s a dedicated working group focussing on these topics.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
In my team we support each other and cover knowledge / skill gaps for each other. We do the same thing for others departments. I have to point out that with other employers in the same industry I’ve experienced this differently. We’re working as one team here.

Fair - many are given an opportunity to stay on the job or slowly phase out their career depending on their preference.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
My manager always has an open ear for my topics and acts fast when there is a need for support or guidance. I genuinely believe that this is the case in many of UCC departments. Managers care and also listen to concerns from outside their own line.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Office is not super central, however well accessible via public transport or car. The office itself is spacious compared to other companies. Also, in recent years, UCC invested a great deal into its office space whilst still enabling home office on two days per week.
Kommunikation
Channels are open to provide feedback in any way desired (be it direct face to face, even across reporting lines, via surveys or in anonymous form). From my experience, feedback is always taken seriously and valid points are considered. I have personally never encountered negative outcomes for people who speak up - rather the opposite, people are involved in further discussions and made part of the solution.
Gleichberechtigung
People are treated and respected equally and without preference to a specific group. Ratings and career progres, in my experience, reflect the work and passion you put in. If someone wants to grow, they’re given a fair chance irrespective of their background.
Interessante Aufgaben
Since starting in UCC (which is quite a couple of years ago) I’ve learnt a great deal. Challenges were always appropriate to my skill level at that given point and though stretch assignments were sometimes tricky I always got the support to push through and succeed, provided I put in the effort.
