Very competitive products, strong customer orientation, healthy company culture, multicultural and kind teams.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
What I miss the most is the work atmosphere at Absen which was simple, friendly, respectful and cooperative. I could focus on my job itself without wasting my time in any sort of office politics.

It is a pity to see a few old comments on Kununu which were quite emotional, extreme and unfair. A bit angry to see some descriptions in them were just not true.
Work-Life-Balance
Absen had flexible working time and was result oriented. I could start any time before 9 am in the office and left after finishing the regulated working hours and break. Some positions were able to work remotely like BDM, some not possible like warehouse department.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Absen actually gave lots of opportunities and room to employees to develop themselves and to get promoted. There were regular internal trainings, performance reviews etc, but could have offered more programs.
Gehalt/Benefits
There has been continuous improvements in the years when I was at Absen. Happy to know that Absen took it seriously to improve the compensation and benefits of employees.

I was happy to see the Absen Green project started years ago already

Colleagues were ready to support you any time. They were friendly and always tried to help even when sometimes it was not their task or responsibility.

Colleagues treated each other with respect, especially to the senior ones.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
All my line managers were professional, honest, fair and intelligent. It was really lucky to work under such managers.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Nothing to complain, got everything I needed for my job. But would be nice to have more height adjustable working tables.
Kommunikation
The communication in the office was easy and straight forward. The main challenge was to collaborate with colleagues who worked remotely but it was normal and understandable.
Gleichberechtigung
Nothing what I observed was against it.
Interessante Aufgaben
I had interesting tasks and constantly new challenges, through which I learned a lot. I also had room to bring my initiative or ideas, and to implement them together with the team.
