Nice office spaces and benefits. People usually manage to have a good time and keep a smile while working. Some cool team-building/milestone celebration events.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Due to the nature of the business it can't be very environmentally sustainable, although there is some ongoing work on "sustainable aviation".

In terms of operations, little things like the origins of the coffee that is provided, could be improved.

It does support some social causes with donations of money and goods, including by mobilizing the colleagues.

Not sure if it uses green energy for powering the office and how it handles disposal of trash and goods. It did e.g. incentivize reuse of old laptops by giving them away in exchange of a donation for a social cause.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Managers are very down to earth and approchable.

Senior people are very welcoming, willing to help and open to listen even the most junior colleagues.

All the essentials are provided, not the best in class, but also not outdated.

Kommunikation

Everything from project to big picture company level is communicated openly and clearly.

Interessante Aufgaben

The type of work can become somewhat repetitive and there isn't a lot of technological innovation in most projects, but it's still interesting if you enjoy detailed work in systems that require high-quallity.

We could always improve a bit our visibility in the aerospace field, but the past 2 years some improvements were made

Very flexible working time, of course there are sometimes stressful peaks, but then we can take off our days in flexitime. Very flexible to plan holidays and in general very understanding for private issues

I have never seen a company where this point is as strong as at AES. Like I said above: feels like a big family.

I have the impression, they are treated with great respect and their experience and know-how are very valuable for the company

We could get some more gender diversity, and it is true, that the management consists only of French and German people.

Gute Mischung von erfahrenen Kollegen und Potentials fördert Wissensaustausch in beide Richtungen.

Da AES ein JV zwischen SAFRAN und MTU Aero Engines ist, ist AES leider noch nicht so bekannt.
Meiner Meinung nach ein Hidden Champion wenn es um die Entwicklung sicherer HW und SW geht.

Wird hoch gehalten und es wird darauf acht gegeben.
Projekt bedingte Belastungsspitzen müssen auch schonmal ausgehalten werden.

Jeder kennt jeden und die Feste werden auch gefeiert! Im Alltag gibt es immer mal wieder Diskussionen, aber am Ende des Tages sind wir eine Mannschaft.

Es werden regelmäßige All Hands- und Team Meetings abgehalten.
Der Corona bedingte Umstieg auf Mobile Working hat gut geklappt.
Dies hat AES dazu bewogen eine Mobile Working Strategie zu manifestieren.

Gleichberechtigung

AES ist die „bunteste“ Firma, die ich bis dato sehen durfte. Macht echt Spaß in einem multi-kulturelle Umfeld zu arbeiten.

Interessante Aufgaben

Weniger Technologie (das baut sich aber gerade etwas auf), dafür klar Produkt orientierte Projekte im zivilen und militärischem Luftfahrtbereich.
