See "communication". Most of the Top Managers don't behave honestly with the employees, but will talk about their behavior like if they were examples for their peers.
Kommunikation
Transparency is one of the values, but don't expect any more information than what they are obliged to tell you.
The top management is very good when it comes to communicate. They will always ask you what you need to better explain that you don't really need it.
They are also super good in marketing, not only with the customers but also the employees! They will make their best to "sell" a beautiful story to the employees.

Good if you work in the UK. Otherwise not.
