Try to stabilise it more.
Flat hierarchy (team leads, department heads, management), new office space is much better than the old one; prefer the old location though, can get tense in preparation of major industry events.
Honestly, for a start-up company pretty relaxed (few times worked > 6pm), home office possible, difficult to get lunch but people cook in the kitchen.
Promoting younger guys to team leads (happened multiple times since I was there).
Pay is decent for a start-up company, no ESOP as far as I can tell.
They make high-tech stuff for two-wheel vehicles, pretty cool!
Some of the peps go exercising together, two big teams/ two different atmospheres (software and hardware).
Some of the newer management guys raised the average age but rest is in its 30s, I'd say.
Management team is quite young with some more senior guys added recently, department heads need to share strategy more clearer with team.
Start-up company making mistakes but with can-do attitude, constantly undergoing change/ never know what’s happening the next week (for better or worse).
Management sometimes difficult to get by, international working atmosphere, German is not the preferred language (helps if you know it).
Very international atmosphere, few women though (20% may be).
Engages a lot with the open-source-software community, trying out a lot of new tools/ processes.
Stressful and frustrating: Due to many, unexpected changes within projects it is very hard to meet deadlines. Long working-hours and a tense atmosphere are a result.
Long working hours limit free time. Home office is available in agreement with teamlead.
No performance reviews make it hard to meet goals. Pending on the teamlead communication is difficult. Hierachy is low, but there is one: Top management and the others. If the management wants something, there is no way to adjust with a good line of arguments.
Nice generous, open lounge and office with kitchen, big terrace.
Offices unfortunately are either big and loud or small and sticky. Hard to stay concentrated.
The bigger the company gets the more the communication suffers.
Even the communication to my teamlead got tough. They always have an open ear, are open to discuss possible changes to improve, just the realisation failed in the end.
Not many women.
Interessting product to work on.
Atmosphere is usually quite tense. Tough deadlines and long working hours also play their part. Within projects short term changes are quite usual what makes it even harder to meet timings.
Started strong, lost pace.
Long working hours. Hard to get overhours off.
Depends on the department.
Colleagues are great.
Willing to talk about issues and challenges. Brilliant in discussing possible solutions. Not very good in executing the agreements. There is a low hierachy communicated, but decisions are always made from the management. Even a good line of arguments won't help here.
Big office with nice lounge and terrace. Unfortunately the offices are either generous but loud (missing noise isolation in a huge room) or they are quite sticky because of many colleagues in a smaller room.
Communication is difficult. The bigger the company gets the worse it gets.
not many women there
Interesting products to work on, fun industry.
