Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
I have made many friends in my co-workers, and have come to know and love many interesting and dear people who live in the facility that I work for. I have also learned a lot during my employment at this company.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The management seem to play favorites. Pay is not based on years of experience, or how well a person is doing their job, but whether they are friends with the management, or of the male gender.

Safety is a big concern. The doors in the front are not used,and the windows are nailed down to keep certain people out.If we were to have a fire, there is no way to get out all of our residents in a safe manner
Arbeitsatmosphäre
We have recently lost a good administrator that was replaced by an administrator who is very greedy and is more interested in his yearly bonuses than what truly matters to this company. The employees who have been there for years are waiting it out. Many others have left the company. The morale is very poor overall, as many job perks and incentives have been taken away. The facility is chronically short staffed, and, there are never enough of the supplies that the staff needs to do their jobs.

The windows are nailed down. The elevators were both broken down for nearly 1full year which are all fire hazards.

There could be more encouragement and support from the upper management when staffing is limited and morale is at it's lowest.

Herausforderung
This is the most challenging job that I have ever had. The workload is the same as the work of two. It is also physically demanding, as you are on your feet for 12 hrs. It is emotionally challenging at times as well, as we lose patients who die or leave the facility.

The communication needs a lot of work in this company, but we are working on it.
