There is basically no company culture existing. Heavy micromanagement is the only culture that has been established successfully.
No carrier development in sight for anyone for years.
No state-of-the-art IT tools available to work fast and efficient. Lab equipment is state of the art and plenty available.
Fixed salary (acceptable for a startup), no bonus, no perks.
Pay was ok for young start-up in the area (only that this company is 5+ years old and employs 70+ people in three countries; Pay does not compare to nearby switzerland).
Interesting products.
Toxic workplace. Management with extreme mood swings. Not trustworthy. Micromanagement. Lack of business expertise. Aggregates people that depend on employment for visa purposes. Normalizes excessive working hours and working weird hours. No transparent hiring process.
No interest in staff and leadership development. No interest in organisational development.
Intransparent funding situation.
No stock options for early employees.
Poor communication and documentation across the company. Poor treatment of external partners and companies.
Lack of professionalism for the company size and age.
Replace leadership (C E O) with someone with a business degree. Rethink hiring strategy.
