I had one of the most frustrating and unprofessional interview experiences with Cognigy.
I applied for a position and, as always, prepared extensively, researching the company, aligning my skills, and making sure I was fully ready for the conversation.
But when the time for the interview came, no one showed up.
I waited, sent an email, and got zero response that day. Only the next day did the recruiter reach out, saying that the position had been changed from managerial to director level, and they had to cancel the interview. He also claimed that he had sent an automated cancellation email which I never received.
I responded, letting him know that I hadn’t received any notification and even expressed interest in being considered for the director-level position. His response? Silence. He completely ghosted me.
This level of disorganization and lack of respect for candidates’ time is unacceptable. If a company can’t handle a simple interview process professionally, it makes you wonder how they run the rest of their operations. Avoid this company.
