Beware of the central in Toronto and North America! They are only interested in numbers and give nothing on employees!

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

There is nothing to say. No real perspective for experienced senior level employees. Sorry to say but it is the truth.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

North America is living in the past based on their business activities. They are champions in storytelling but behind there is less substance of advertising experience. They think they could reach their goals with aggressive sales teams like workarounds in the 80s like wolf of wall street. They expect everything from the teams but invest nothing to support them in the markets. They will not hear anything what is the status quo inside of the market. They only want to know: how many meetings you have and they expect 4 meetings a week! Hard selling 80s style. Important to know: in North America they have assigned "pitch agencies" to become invitations to the big brands and they pay a lot of money for it. This is the only way to become a chance for clients. Not the sales teams are successful - the pitch agencies doing the core business. They did not arrived in the new world of modern content and social selling activities. They will never have a chance to grow in Europe. Sorry to say. No perspective.

The rating above is only based on experience with the the North American Management from Toronto (Canada) and New York (USA).

This means also, that there is no potential development as an employee for the offices in Europe because there is no possibility for improvement anymore!

Toronto decides without a real close cooperation with Europe and the offices there. They're not interested in an experienced business conversation. They are not interested in meaningful impact from the markets in the different countries. They will not integrate them in their strategies based on the difference of countries, culture and market situations.

They also not interested in facts based on sales work and the market development out of the difference markets and countries.

They look only on the business numbers and set the pressure hight.

After a schedule of 6 to 18 months depending on your position they quit the cooperation without a meeting and without a meaningful conversation.

Employees are numbers for them and not more.

All what will be spoken from the management is nothing you should believe in based on a big family. Typically North American style "How are you"!

Arbeitsatmosphäre

In Europe OK but only so long Toronto will not control you in details week by week! Be aware of their American way of business. Hire & Fire! Still a topic!

Bad integration. Only video sessions and no real substance from Toronto. No detailed integration. You need something, care for yourself.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The only chance to catch employees but you have to deliver!!!!

No one knows DAC in Europe but Toronto is not interested in investing in it. All content is created through North American stories, cases, experience. No separate storytelling for Europe or the single countries of UK, Spain, France, Germany. Some Linkedin posts that's all.
