Arbeitsatmosphäre

The work atmosphere here is quite the balance between fast-paced and relaxed. There are days where its super fast-paced, running by the minute, but there are many days too where its well planned relaxed enough.

Kommunikation

Spending a lot of time on improving the processes and putting communication at the heart of everything we do is a great thing I love about DataGuard. Transparency and putting effort into trivial things like even internal communication is what makes DataGuard a respectable company in my eyes.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Great colleagues and culture! I think the hiring game is on point and if I have to say one favorite point about DataGuard, then it is my colleagues first.

Work-Life-Balance

In short, I do think there is enough work-life-balance here. It definitely depends on personal choices on where one wants to "balance" their time, but the best part to me is these choices are respected when I respected the company's need too. To me, this is like a reward-barter system. I am there when the company needed me, and the company is there to support me when I need the time off. Simple. However, I gave one star less because, despite the flexibility, I think at the current stage DataGuard is, in my eyes, it should not be a fully family-friendly personally enjoyable company - in that case, go work for Google I guess ;)

Interessante Aufgaben

That's the best part. If you are an enterprising person with ideas and willingness to "lead" and take responsibility, you can go to any extent and the people support that extensively. It is even a rewarding experience when the task is successfully completed/delivered, the whole company celebrates that with you.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

That's the curious part here that even older colleagues who are hired and work here are super fun and never have I felt any difference due to age gap. Kudos to our hiring team (managers, HR etc.) to ensure such a cultural teamfit in every hire.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Depending on the role's need, the work equipment is perfectly provided. But, when it comes to Tech, there's never a "satisfied" situation ;) Hence one star down.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The willingness and interest is definitely there, but I feel that some actions can still be improved - for example providing extra food that, obviously is in our responsibilities to consume, if gets stale becomes just a waste.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

As a person with entrepreneurial mindset, I think DataGuard is providing a competitive salary - but, like the Tech equipment, there is always a scope for paying more. My personal belief here is, the founders are such people that will never look back when rewarding the deserving. i.e. its not like DataGuard makes 10x profit, and they only give back 1% of it, right. I think they are trying to always maintain a balance with the company's revenue growth and the salary growth, which I think is fair.

Has a huge potential in this space to get a better image for the company and for us as individual too. Great focus on Branding and I'm sure one day it will just be enough to say, "I work at DataGuard" for people to go "Wow, that's great"

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Despite the obvious explicit benefits of career growth with education support etc., my personal favorite is the learning opportunities to manage several people, projects and self productivity. I see this as a perfect win-win for me.
