Toxic atmosphere and no empathy

The colleagues can recognize the toxic atmosphere and therefore support each other a bit.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Transparency and communication is important. CTO is avoiding the appraisal meetings and also not giving proper feedback which could backfire.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
colleagues are working as freelancers. What one colleague is working on the other colleague has bare minimum clue about it. Its a small team but every year someone is fired.

No one recognizes the company. The developed app is the among the worst rated app on playstore.

Sometimes too much to work as the direction often changes.

Tech stack is not that modern. So limited learning options going forward.

You have to wait at least for 1.5 years to even begin with.

Colleagues are good and supportive. But everyone thinks about himself/herself first. Fittest of the survival kind of atmosphere.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Not transparent at all. Laid off CEO this year. Last year product manager was laid off. The head of R&D keeps hiring from his country of origin (his friends) so people from other countries are at risk of being laid off.
Arbeitsbedingungen
good coffee keeps you a bit motivated.
Kommunikation
The communications is bare minimum. Don't have any clue in what direction company is going as it is dependent on a single company for funds.
Gleichberechtigung
reduced because of the current Head of R&D. Currently hiring only from his country of origin. He took the freedom away as son as he was hired because he thinks he should be the decision maker.
Interessante Aufgaben
It was interesting at the beginning. But now it is just about optimising the things.
