For industry standards WLB is extremely good! It's also very flexible in terms that one can always block an evening or a lunch break to meet family/friends. Of course it also varies with dealflow and can also get more intense in high-paced deal processes but that's why you go to VC.

Salary for interns is not competitive regarding the experience you have to bring with.

Partners are all very hands-on and supportive even to interns. They also take the time to go for lunch and get to know each other. Interns are assigned a mentor that one can work with very closely and geed continuous feedback.

Communication is direct and friendly but one also has to be proactive and ask for relevant updates etc. to be kept in the loop
