Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

International, friendly and motivated people...

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

but unfortunately for me I had to work everyday with someone toxic which sadly makes EQS Group one of the worst workplace I ever been.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

I am not the first and sadly probably not the last person who experienced extrem micromanagement (which leads to demotivation, burn out or resignation). Please take a closer look at the high turnover, it's often a red flag that something (someone) is acting wrongly.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

During meetings, some people are put forward more than others and monopolize the floor, which is a pity.

Kommunikation

There is no open communication when people leave the company. Many times in my department or my market people left and it was not even mentioned.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Most people are talented, motivated and supportive.

Work-Life-Balance

There are always lots of work to do.

Very bad.... I came in super motivated and eager to learn and micromanagement & unconstructive criticism destroyed it.

Interessante Aufgaben

In my case lots of repetitive and boring tasks. I was not challenged and had someone on my back supervising all what I was doing. My skills were not used.

Gleichberechtigung

It's a very traditional company. C-level positions are often held by German men. More diversity in higher position should definitely be considered (and I am not only talking about Woman).

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Below average.

Transparency and Trust are just words they put to look nice on their website, I did not experience it.
They are proud of their surveys where everyone seems to be happy, but when you discuss with your colleagues you realized that there are lots of frustration, unsolved and untold problems.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There is a « focus day » during which employees have the opportunity to learn new skills. Some of my colleagues were lucky enough to have a manager who respected this time and encouraged them, unfortunately this was not the case for me.
No real possibility to grow.

Dear former colleague,

Your words really caught our attention. We are sorry to hear that during your time at EQS you did not feel supported enough on the one hand, and that you felt too restricted on the other hand.

Since feedback is an essential part of our company culture, we want to take the chance to respond to some of your comments in a more detailed way.

In particular, the criticism you raised about leadership at EQS is concerning to us. We know how important it is to have good leaders: people who lead by example, create an environment based on trust and enable their team members to thrive and grow every day. This is why we put an emphasis on developing leaders who exemplify our core values as well as our working principles and who encourage their team members to do the same.

At EQS, we are proud that we have an Upward Feedback cycle, where team members are invited to give feedback to their Team Leads on an anonymous basis. This feedback is not only possible during the cycle period, but also encouraged throughout the year through 1-1 meetings, workshops, and daily exchanges. This is because we are invested in growing and developing ourselves and each other, embodying our values of transparency, trust, and team spirit.

Another aspect that you addressed in your feedback is equality. We are aware that we have not yet achieved a complete gender balance in higher positions at our company. We find that unfortunate as well and hence decided to make gender equality one of our goals for sustainable development at EQS, starting with establishing a quota for our supervisory board. Individually, however, we treat every EQSer the same and our Code of Conduct is valid for every single employee.

Again, we are sorry that your experience at EQS did not match our aim to be a great employer to all our employees. But your feedback will for sure make us try even harder to create an inclusive and trustful work environment for everyone.
