There were several factors, that led to me enjoy working at Fertilly:

-Great advice and support: I have gotten a lot of great and constructive feedback, this made my learning curve to be very steep! Often I was called into meetings, so i could watch and learn.

The founders really built an awesome team and this is absolutely reflected in the company culture. The office atmosphere is relaxed, open and joyous. Me and my colleagues became great friends over time!
Of course the work needs to be done, but they definitely know how to throw a great party ;).

Location and equipment of the office are superb. High quality office chairs and height-adjustable tables make working quite comfortable. Located in Prenzlauer Berg, Fertilly is in one of the hippest and liveliest parts of Berlin with great food and cool places for breaks all around.
Communication is honest and open but never unfair or malicious. One of the biggest benefits about Fertilly, is that they really want you to do well and support you in every way possible!
Super diverse and multicultural team. I loved working together with my french and italian colleagues! I am going to miss that!
This is really what made my intership stand out from anything I've done before. I could work on both meaningful and critical tasks. The amount of responsibilty and the fact that my work was valued, appreciated and taken seriously had me coming in the office with a smile on my face every morning!
In den Teams herrscht eine gute Stimmung, die einem die Freiräume gibt, eigene Ideen und Vorstellungen einzubringen. Gerade weil es ein junges Unternehmen ist, ergeben sich ständig neue Aufgabenstellungen und die Möglichkeit, früh Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Ich konnte viel Praxiserfahrungen sammeln und mein im Studium gelerntes anwenden. Weiterhin konnte ich erkennen mit welchen Herausforderungen junge Unternehmen sich auseinandersetzen müssen und wo Lösungswege gefunden werden müssen.

Längere Arbeitszeiten sind schon mal drin, allerdings ist dies bei einem Startup Praktikum auch nichts unübliches!
Sollte man mal einen persönlichen Termin haben der in die Arbeitszeit fällt wird dies respektiert und ermöglicht!

Hier versteht man was der Begriff "Team" bedeutet - Alle verfolgen ein gemeinsames Ziel, und dies wird auch gelebt.
Der Begriff Lehrauftrag wird hier noch ernst genommen - Es wird viel von einem erwartet, mindestens aber genau so viel in Form von Wissen zurückgegeben
Manchmal wurden Erwartungen etwas unklar kommuniziert, allerdings bestand immer die Möglichkeit nachzufragen um diese Unklarheiten zu klären.
Man kann seine Arbeitsbereiche aktiv mitgestalten - es gibt mehr als genügend interessante Aufgaben, langweilig wird es auf keinen Fall!

Great atmosphere overall. It can be a bit more tensed on certain days but in general it’s quite pleasant. Lovely office as well and relaxed colleagues.
Not an obvious brand name (due to being a smaller startup), but an elite team (BCG, HBS, ...) with a broad network.
Vastly depends on your role and your ambition, so it technically could be higher (4 or 5 stars). But if you aim to perform on a high and consistent basis, you have to be willing to put some overtime in. That means long working weeks at a very high pace and intensity. I didn‘t mind it, actually I liked it as it allowed my to grow faster then I thought was possible.
100%. Learned more in 3.5 months about building a business then in the last couple of years. You just need to be open-minded about.

Due to the small time size and the cultural benefits of being a startup, it’s amazing. Felt extremely supported throughout my entire time at DK and everyone is there for you, not only professionally.
As with everything, it depends. If the personal „chemistry“ is there you have the chance to work with a extremely capable and knowledgeable professional who gives you constructive feedback and challenges you in your core. It may not be easy all the time, but who wants that anyways.
One of the companies biggests strengths: repeating feedback rounds and great communication within the team. Even though it may be lacking at times everyone in the team is open to change their ways of communication which makes the company as a whole really adaptive and supportive to work at.
Just incredible. Was allowed to basically do whatever I want and I had full freedom in my actions, that means structuring projects the way I wanted and also full responsibility over all steps and involved team members.

Ein tolles Team mit motivierten Kollegen mit denen man konzentriert zusammenarbeiten kann, aber auch gerne über andere Themen redet. Es ist immer eine herzliche Atmosphäre im Büro und es wird oft gelacht.
Es ist ein gutes Gefühl für ein Unternehmen zu arbeiten, welches das Leben von Menschen positiv beeinflusst.
Vor allem als Praktikant mit eher wenig Berufserfahrung ist die Eingewöhnung ins Berufsleben oft schwer, aber es hat hier für mich echt super geklappt. Die zentrale Lage des Büros in Berlin hilf dabei auch sehr.
Man lernt sehr viel. Berufliche als auch persönliche Kompetenzen, die einem sicherlich in der weiteren Karriere voranbringen werden.
Da schon beim Bewerbungsprozess darauf geachtet wird, dass neue Angestellte ins Team passen, ist das Team sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt und der Zusammenhalt ist sehr stark. Obwohl sehr unterschiedliche Hintergründe und Charaktere zusammenkommen zieht jeder am selben Strang.
Super nett und sehr kompetent. Es kann alles ehrlich angesprochen werden und man hat auch das Gefühl verstanden zu werden.
Das Büro ist super modern und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Offen und ehrlich. Es wird direkt angesprochen wenn etwas gut, aber auch wenn etwas nicht so gut gelaufen ist. (Wenn etwas nicht so gut gelaufen ist, dann wird auch konstruktiv darüber geredet und es werden Verbesserungsvorschläge fürs nächste Mal gemacht)
Die Aufgaben die man bekommt können auch von einem selber beeinflusst/ gewählt werden, je nach eigenem Interesse. Man kann also sich in vielem ausprobieren.

Constructive feedback is part of the working culture, but every now and then there is a lack of communication.
I could choose a lot of my tasks (based on my preferences) and was allowed to take ownership in key topics and to work on personal projects. 10/10!

Die Arbeitsatmosphäre bei Dein Kinderwunsch war zu jeder Zeit meines Praktikums klasse. Die alltägliche Arbeit war geprägt durch ehrliche und häufige Kommunikation, Vertrauen und Humor. Bei Rückfragen konnte ich jeder Zeit auf meine Kollegen zurückgreifen.
Work-Life-Balance ist immer problematisch in jungen Start-ups. Es gibt viel zu tun und es geht ständig rund. Allerdings habe ich mich zu keiner Zeit meines Praktikums "ausgelaugt" o.Ä. gefühlt, da Arbeitsbelastung fair verteilt wurde und viel Flexibilität herrschte (natürlich unter der Voraussetzung, dass alles andere passte).
Durch das erfahrene Gründerteam konnte ich viel lernen, sowohl professionell als auch persönlich. Insgesamt hat das Praktikum mein Profil in beiden Perspektiven erheblich abgerundet und mich definitiv karrieretechnisch weitergebracht.
Toller Zusammenhalt unter den Kollegen. Im tagtäglichen Business wie auch in der Freizeit.
Vorgesetzte gehen sehr offen mit Problemen und Pains um und sprechen diese dediziert an; etwas Wichtigeres gibt es meiner Meinung nach nicht. Die Ziele und Ideen sind mehr als nur realistisch und bei Entscheidungen werden klar alle relevanten Mitarbeiter einbezogen.
Kommunikation lief ingesamt reibungslos ab, Erfolge werden gemeinsam gefeiert und Probleme werden direkt angesprochen und ehrlich kommuniziert.
Die Aufgaben in meinem Praktikum waren mehr als nur interessant - in knapp 3 Monaten konnte ich Projekte im Marketing, Finance, Strategie und Ops machen. Mehr gibt es glaube ich an dieser Stelle nicht zu sagen :)
Motivating workplace, everyone is involved in almost every process. As a intern you can learn a lot with challenging and motivating tasks every day.
Colleagues and managers are open to talk and discuss about any issue or topic. There is a friendly and nice atmosphere and everyone helps or supports you if needed.
Founders/managers have a lot of experience, very interesting profiles and are inspiring and motivating. They work together with everyone, they make sure everything is going fine, they ask for feedback and give feedback, which are great for your professional and personal development.
Since it is a start-up, sometimes you need to have longer days. But in general you can arrange your day and, if necessary, home office is also possible.
At Dein Kinderwunsch you can take care of several different tasks, which is great if you are still at the beginning of your professional career and want to understand what you like most. Moreover, tasks are usually challenging and therefore motivating. For sure, you can learn a lot. If you have special interests and want to know more about it, managers try to make it possible.
Sehr angenehmes Arbeitsklima! Diverse Team-Events und Veranstaltungen tragen auch dazu bei, den Team Spirit zu fördern.
Die Arbeit hat sehr viel Sinnhaftigkeit!
Die Balance zwischen Privat- und Berufsleben wird gut respektiert. Es ist sogar möglich, von Zeit zu Zeit im Home Office zu arbeiten.
Dein Kinderwunsch bietet langfristige und sehr spannende Karrieremöglichkeiten! Wir entwickeln uns ständig weiter, und bekommen viel Unterstützung dabei.
Die Atmosphäre zwischen den Kollegen ist einzigartig: Wir kommunizieren sehr offen und freundschaftlich miteinander. Wir unternehmen auch häufig nach der Arbeit Dinge zusammen. Ich bin wirklich glücklich, bei Dein Kinderwunsch zu arbeiten!

Wöchentliche Feedbackgespräche ermöglichen es uns, wichtige Themen oder Probleme offen zu besprechen. Darüber hinaus sind die Manager immer sehr verfügbar und aufmerksam. Wir werden sehr gut unterstützt.
Wir arbeiten in neuen, sauberen und schicken Büros.
Bei Dein Kinderwunsch arbeiten wir eng im Team. Die Kommunikation läuft sehr gut.
Es gibt absolut keinen Unterschied zwischen Frauen und Männern innerhalb von Dein Kinderwunsch! Wir arbeiten als ein Team.
Die Firma ist sehr missions-getrieben. In meiner Zeit bei Dein Kinderwunsch habe ich sehr viele verschiedene Bereiche gesehen, und die verschiedensten Fähigkeiten erlernt. Ebenso kann sich jeder – unabhängig von der Seniorität – an der Entwicklung des Unternehmens beteiligen!
