Colleagues, projects, trust in employees.
no real complaints.
Betriebliche Altersvorsorge would be great also a BVG Firmenticket and more holidays.
Friendly positive people to work with.
It's a cool startup building a serious product with material value and a positive impact.
Overtime is frowned upon, but it's still a startup. You can work from home if you give 24 hours notice, leaving early to go to the dentists or an Amt is fine. Most people leave at 5:00-6:00 PM.
If you're self-motivated there is plenty of room to grow, there is however no "management-track". It's a good place for autodidacts, not so great for those needing courses & training to get ahead.
Good but a pension plan & public transportation discount would be nice. Also 30 days of holiday instead of 26 is really a must.
We don't recycle our trash!
Fraugster has a top-down (i.e. non-flat) management structure, this is great for getting things done, ideas however come from the bottom up, this means there is a competitive atmosphere. It's the norm for people to work across team boundaries without intervention from management.
There are 5 employees still here from when the company started almost 5 years ago.
Informal but very professional, the management is experienced and has good policies in place.
Great office on the 12th floor with aircon, a secure place to park the bicycle, free drinks (coke, juice, beer), very good coffee and fresh fruit daily.
I have 1:1s with management every 2 weeks, i find that comments and complaints are taken very seriously. Employees are trusted, there isn't an us-vs-them mentality.
Women are visible in management but don't account for 50% of the management team, however as it's a small growing company i expect this will improve. Certainly the will and efforts to-date are encouraging.
Largely you as an employee are expected to come up with and drive the development of new ideas and projects.
