Communication between the working team
+ Clear communication: I almost never did anything that was not agreed between both parties since the beginning.
+ Always helpful and patient supervisors: I never felt alone in front of a difficult task.
+ Well-structured tasks.
+ Possibility to work remotely.
- Rather repetitive tasks; by the way was okay for few months.
- I didn't perceive a real possibility of growth beyond the first weeks. I think it's a good starting point to understand how to behave in a work context, but when you already did other internship experiences you could find yourself in a static situation quite quickly.
- In my experience during the pandemic 6 working hours instead of 8 at the same wage could be more than enough.
I am not working there anymoew i don't know what they do for Corona
You are sitting with the people who are working for the same country as you. Quiet privat talks are okay and it is also okay to go for a coffee or smoke break.
Working 40 hours in shifts.
It is only interns and there a re new interns all the time. It is 2 days of training and then you start with easy mails.
Because we were interns they didn't had to pay us a lot. We were working for 40 hours in customer support but the pay was only enught for rent and the train ticket. We did the normal work an employee would need to do. Normaly you should learn something as an intern.
They didn't do anything for the environment.
I go out with other interns aftr work and there is friday a meeting where we have a beer.
It is only interns so there were no older colleagues.
If I have a questing i could ask my supervisor. But sometimes if I had an angry customer who wnated to speak to them I should do it on my own. Only if the customers got really really angry they came to help me.
Sometimes it was loud if a lot of people were talking. The headphones were okay but not the best.
There was food and drinks for free.
Changes are only communicated via Skype. If you are not there for a day or a lot of conversation after you are one with work you have to read everything because you are not informed individually.
There were only interns and i think one full time employee for customer support. So there is no opportunity for a promotion.
No, only e-mails and phone calls. Sometimes we had to translate texts.
Gleitzeit
International environment and young teams
Interns which are recruited for online marketing and product management positions do not get any task related to these field. The job descriptions in the announcement is a lie. Instead the company is literally a Call-Centre. Do not expect any other task than sitting in a room with cabins answering E-mails and insulting customers’ calls all day long. Even after complaining several times, the management still refused to give task related to marketing and product management.
International interns are often exploited. In this Call-Centre, often single interns are responsible to answer, alone, calls from customers of a whole country. A learning by doing is promoted, consequently interns receive no training. However they are 100 % liable for their mistakes. On one side there is high pressure to perform (interns are regularly controlled), on the other side mistakes are not accepted.
The company decks itself with being a Start-Up with flat hierarchy and flexible environment. Instead there hare very strict rules and no sign of flexibility, regarding both tasks and working hours (not even for few minutes).
No learning possibilities, no career opportunities
Nice atmosphere between international interns
the office looks like a call centre. Nice kitchen.
