What I like about the employer
It's a rare treasure to be in a company that as a whole feels like your home team and where you look forward to spend time with to do your thing. The employer is trying to create the professional space where one wants to be and strive towards shared goals.
What I dislike about the employer
This question takes a long time of pondering with no real result. Still miss the table tennis table from my previous employee, though...
Suggestions for improvement
I would wish the IT strategy a bit more divers regarding hardware or operating systems. Inherently there is no need based on our products or development environments to stick with the same vendor lock-in and ecosystem as "everybody" else. - On the good side, there is already a great deal of flexibility and openness to alternative solutions.
Working atmosphere
All remote company, still feels like really being with your team. Superiors are listening and are open to take input. They give honest and helpful feedback at the same time and actively work on solving any kind of issues together.

This is a startup with a still small and very close to each other team. We're still building up our image and are aware of need to create an image to the outside world. Internally there's no doubt, that this is a great place to be and to grow with.

Also as a startup, there is not much hierarchy yet. If one needs some support or training, there is much freedom to find and choose the needed path and content. There is a clear intention to grow, and with that comes the opportunity to develop a career.

Trying to have a small footprint, already thinking of finding the best balance. There is a conscience of the side effects of high tech and IT companies and the motivation to take care of these conflicting areas.

Young company already built a strong sense of "we" and identity. Cooperation and collaboration are the core culture, facing challenges and achieving goals together. Successes are shared, hurdles are cared about together in the team.

Young company by average age of colleagues and time since founding. But the elders or seniors are just as valuable and valued as everybody else.

Competent and hands-on, right mix of leading and giving space for personal development. Decisions are made swiftly but also reasonable, justified - and explained and even discussed in the whole company. Input and influence on the directions are possible and welcomed.

Fully remote company. Design and configure your workspace as needed or wanted. The company takes care of the right conditions and supports with good equipment and options to individually extend your own setup.

Great emphasis on open and direct communication through all teams and levels. Very quick and direct communication in all directions, no silos and no useless secrets.

Very interesting tasks and diverse topics. Fair amount of work. Reduction of stupid formalities and giving the space and time to really concentrate on the things that matter. Given and chosen tasks have a good balance and give a real sense or purpose.
