Summer Internship 2023 as Junior Venture Architect

As an intern, I've been with this company for two months. Even though I don't speak German, my coworkers and bosses were courteous and attempted to communicate in English with me. Weekly meetings and close collaboration with the Chief executive officer and Chief financial officer assisted me in understanding the assigned tasks and business models. They assigned me tasks related to my interests and evaluated them based on how I felt about them. The work environment's adaptability has really impressed me. Even though they were busy, they tried to make time for me. Everyone was extremely pleasant.

What I found difficult was when all of my colleagues spoke German to each other, even during meetings. I felt I should have studied German before starting the internship. Some of them are fluent in English, while others are not. Besides, I couldn't get feedback in person because of the flexibility because they sometimes chose remote working.
