I think the company operation has become a virtual family business which is controlled by a handful of management people. They run the company in their own way and don't seem to comply with standard work culture.
Office infrastructure is ok but IT hardware has substandard budget.
I think work-life balance for developers are not great. Unrealistic expectations from developers for software deliveries.
In my view, managers lack a sufficient technical background, which can lead to underestimating the complexity of newly planned features. As a result, goals and timelines are sometimes not fully realistic, and developers suffer from unrealistic expectations during release cycle.
I think comparing to industry standards salary is less but they expect a lot from you.

Ausser die Lage, was nicht schlecht ist aber für mich etwas umständlich zu erreichen würde ich nichts schlechtes erwähnen können
wäre schön wenn die Firma zentraler wäre wegen Fahrtzeit und Unzuverlässigkeit bei der Sbahn Linie S8 die nur ab und zu fährt

I feel embarrassed when I see visitors and interviewees coming in and being told they have to take off their shoes, and then they meet the Founder and Managers walking around in shorts and PJs and sitting with their legs spread. It is just disrespectful. Great that we could dress up casually and work comfortably, but seeing the look of disbelief on new-comers faces when they are confronted with a "teenager in his pants" being a member of the management is just embarrassing...

Nice office, desks, plants etc. Drinks and fruits are available all day, people are nice to each other, they even cook together from time to time
I would say that the image is amazing and impressing, especially related to the short time, the company is on the market. They are already very professional!
It's a startup so there are usually a lot of things to do. The project management/deadline improved a lot and people are listening once you have a problem etc. The atmosphere at Holo-Light is really good, home-office possible etc. People take care in case there's something with the familiy and everyone has holidays.
You can grow with the company and become an important member within a very short time!
The salary is alsways in time, it's not too high due to the nature of startups but it increases related to the success of the company. Sports and health program is available.
The company takes care about the environment, seperating waste etc. The company takes care about good partners/clients as social responsibility is important.
Working together with colleagues at Holo-Light works really good. On a personal level I'm totally fine and okay with everyone, it's a lot of fun! We do a lot of activities outside of work. In case there is a dispute people are usually able to communicate honest and open.
Most of the people are a bit younger but there are people with more experience also. Everyone is respected, allowed to say his/her opinion and there's not really a difference between older and younger people.
The management is in average young, listening a lot and thinking about optimization. Obvisously there are sometimes things, which are not 100% perfectly but people are willing to learn and it's amazing what they created within such a short time! The opinion of everyone is respected and there is a really flat hierarchy.
Everyone gets the best equipemt he/she needs! Desks are professional and nice.
Communciation in general is nice, sometimes tasks have to be communicated more clearly, it improved a lot over the last half year. Communication between management and team is quiet open
There are less women than men due to the nature of this branche (unfortunately) but there's no difference between men and women at Holo-Light.
The technology is just amazing and there is so much space for ideas and creativity. It's fascinating, what the developers create and it's a lot of fun. Everyone gets the chance to show and use his/her srengths and people are willing to learn new things.
