Tasks

  • Conduct research to identify new solid color business opportunities (HPL and CPL converting), new potential customers, new product needs through commercial prospecting.

  • Establishment and expansion of an active network system with decision-makers from the decor industry, including regular meetings.

  • Identification of customer requirements and color demands. Perform market / product / competition analysis and provide strategic recommendations and advice to grow our sales performance.

  • Define in coordination with sales the color development plans and forecasting sales targets.

  • Generate new profitable business to increase sales volumes and to support the company growth.

  • Visit existing and prospective clients to promote our new solid color developments and trend collections.

  • Support our sales manager team to reach their solid color volume and profitability targets.

  • Work in cooperation with our design studio to define our solid color trend collections and in producing regular trend reports.

  • Visiting and attending conferences, meetings, industry events and fairs.

  • Evaluation and monitoring of overall performance in solid colors (KPIs related to sales and profitability)

Professional experience

  • Senior level working experience as a business development manager, sales & marketing manager or in a commercial prospecting role

  • professional experience in sales & marketing management in an international business environment

  • Well documented and relevant commercial experience in decor paper and/or broader laminate furniture industry

  • Knowledge in colors, design and trends ideally in the furniture and home decoration sector

  • Excellent communication, sharp negotiation, and networking skills

  • Knowledge in customer acquisition processes, in sales growth tactics and in marketing go to market approach.

  • High level of motivation and commitment for team results, high achievement & performance orientation

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize activities to achieve customer and business objectives.

  • Readiness to travel.

  • Good IT skills – proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
