• Developing and optimizing software for our bioinformatics platform, focusing on data analysis and processing.

• Improving the performance of our software infrastructure to handle large-scale biological data efficiently.

• Validating and deploying software updates for both clinical and academic purposes.

• Collaborating with teams to enhance our cloud-based infrastructure.

• Assisting in the development and testing of new bioinformatic methods and analyzing data.

• Providing expertise on software-related matters and contributing to the improvement of our team's software infrastructure and documentation.

• Gaining proficiency in genomics and utilizing bioinformatic tools for data analysis.

• Supporting the publication of research findings in scientific journals.

• A PhD degree in computer science with a strong background in software engineering, NGS, and bioinformatics.

• Expert-level knowledge in Java and Python.

• Experience with high-performance computing (SLURM experience), cloud computing, parallel computing methods, and GPUs.

• Familiarity with devops tools such as version control, unit testing, and continuous integration and deployment methods.

• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work, along with a systematic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Excellent command of the English language.
