Senior Java Developer – Berlin – On-site or 100% Remote

Our client is a, German-based, pioneer in the online gaming industry, developing innovative systems in over 35 countries in 27 languages. Through passionate, team-focused design and development our client has created more than 150 real online slots games and social casino verticals. Their driven, unified team of 70 individuals pride themselves on integrity, trust and passion for online gaming. They are actively searching for confident and proactive engineers with good knowledge of: Java, C#, Kotlin or Golang to join their team and deliver top-quality development that guides their extensive growth plans: personal and organisational.

The Role:

- You'll create the games and build upon existing online casinos in addition to the supporting infrastructure

- Throughout the project lifecycle, you are responsible for the strategic orientation of software architectures

- You consistently work to enhance the code base's quality and organisation.

- You develop an extensive test coverage, particularly in safety-critical areas

- You independently execute CI/CD pipelines and offer support in the area of operations

- You work under the application of agile methods

The Requirements:

- You possess a computer science degree or an equivalent qualification

- You have at least 4 years of experience working professionally in the software development industry

- You are an expert programmer in one of the following: Java, C#, Kotlin, or Golang

- You are proficient in object-oriented programming

- You follow clean-code principles and use design patterns

- Gitlab, Build Pipelines, Docker, Microservices, and REST are just a few of the modern software technologies you have solid expertise working with

- Ideally, you are familiar with AWS and cloud computing

- You set yourself apart through your independent working style and consider quality to be a success factor

- You have excellent English and German (C1) writing and speaking skills.
