Your Tasks
- Dimensioning, analysis and verification of components of the dynamic system under consideration of weight and performance aspects
- Carrying out static calculations and durability analyses for metal and fibre composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
- Definition, supervision and evaluation of tests
- Evaluation of quality notifications and construction deviations
- Verification of repairs and changes in the production process
- Supervision of flight test campaigns
- Answering customer questions and investigating incidents from operations
Your Profile
- Engineering Degree in aerospace engineering (or equivalent) and work experience as stress engineer
- Solid skills of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
- Good knowledge in FE Modeling techniques including pre- and post-processing (Hypermesh, Optistruct,
NASTRAN, ABAQUS) - Experience with lifetime / fatigue analysis
Self-motivated and independent way of working with good communication skills - Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork in a transnational surrounding with various interfaces to
other disciplines
