More top-down L&D programs and growth opportunities would be great in general, but for now I am very happy with the educational platforms and materials available.

Everyone is very approachable, helpful and friendly, you can easily chat even with executives in the office or on Slack. No one behaves like they are better than anyone else, even executives can easily help unload the dishwasher and clean up. Truly flat hierarchies!

Daily meetings are short and on point. I never have to waste time in long meetings that are unrelated to me, so it's easy to concentrate on my work. I can work from the office or remotely. I don't have to log hours or always be available so I can manage my own time, as long as I complete the necessary tasks. If I need to go to the doctor or something, I don't need to take time off because I can easily catch up later or at another time.

There is not much offered in terms of L&D, career or growth plan. But if employees need any books, courses, certifications or licenses, self-learning is generously sponsored! There are subscriptions for several IT-related educational platforms, so everyone can learn or grow their skills further.

The office is a bit far if you are using public transport. It gets really hot in the summer in the office, but it's normal for German buildings not to have air conditioning. Otherwise there is a free choice of workplace. Even executives have no fixed rooms, everyone is truly on the same level. The workplaces are ergonomic and comfortable. I often work from home and I was sent all the necessary gadgets and equipment. The work laptop and phone are the most modern models to ensure top productivity.
Kommunikation
Monthly meetings inform everyone of news, successes, new employees and other important information. After a project is finished, there are sweet posts on Slack express their gratitude to the collaborators.
Gleichberechtigung
Only about 20% of all employees are women, which is common for IT companies, but our director of IT operations is a woman and many women were hired as developers and support recently, so the trend is definitely positive! I have never seen any differential treatment or discrimination of any kind.

Irgendwie hatten wir nie Stress für Deadlines. Elternzeit wurde ohne Weiteres genehmigt. Viel Verständnis während homeschooling zu Corona-Lockdown.

Hier besteht Nachbesserung, zwar wurden mir auf Anfrage alle Schulungen Zertifizierungen genehmigt und bezahlt jedoch gibt es keinen klaren Plan Mitarbeiter individuell zu fördern. Auch gibt es keine Mentoring. Das muss proaktiv vom Mitarbeiter eingefordert werden.

Gehalt ist durchschnittlich würde ich sagen. Allerdings nicht sehr transparent sondern Verhandlungssache.

Es gibt Spendenaktionen die auch die Kunden involvieren. Von Co2 Kompensation bei Flügen weiß ich nichts.

Ich habe es nicht erlebt, dass Kollegen aufgrund ihres Alters anders behandelt wurden. Lange Betriebszugehörigkeit wird mit Urlaubstagen und Prämien honoriert.

Viel Unterstützung und Verständnis wenn man aktiv auf seinen Vorgesetzten zugegangen ist. Könnte etwas proaktiver sein. z.B. feste Feedback- und Entwickungsgespräche.

Es gibt regelmäßige Townhall meetings und durch die flache Hierarchie kann man jederzeit die Geschäftsführung fragen.

Es ist schwer Frauen in der IT zu finden. Unsere Teams waren auch meistens Männlich daher kann ich hier wenig zu sagen. Ich weiß aber das die Firma händeringend nach weiblichen Entwicklerinnen sucht um auch hier eine höhere Diversität zu schaffen.

Kommt natürlich auf das Projekt an. Ich habe mich meistens gefordert gefühlt.

Flexibilität, sehr schneller Bewerbungsprozess, man schwebt nicht mehrere Wochen oder Monate in der Luft wie es bei manch anderen Firmen ist. Hatte innerhalb von 2,5 Wochen 3 Gespräche und anschließende Jobzusage.
Super Ausstattung mit modernen Arbeitsmitteln.
Und das wichtigste für mich ist, dass man auch eigene Ideen mit einbringen kann und diese auch besprochen und evaluiert werden, das ist nicht in allen Firmen so. Dafür ein großes Plus
